Disco Classics is the latest in the Classics compilation series from Ministry Of Sound, definitive collections of dance related musical genres - previous titles being the highly successful FunkSoul Classics and Acid Jazz Classics.
Ministry of Sound the club opened in London 1991 based on the legendary Paradise Garage in New York and Disco Classics compiles an authentic collection of the seminal disco records that created the scene in New York.
These were huge records back in the day and have been sampled time and time again. From Diana Ross, Chic, Sister Sledge, Barry White, Bohannon, Van McCoy, Candi Staton, Donna Summer, Odyssey, Sly & The Family Stone and, of course, Gloria Gaynor. Just check out the tracklist below!
